Welcome to our group

Alloa Writers Group is a small  group of writers living in and around Alloa. We meet fortnightly, currently in the Resonate Campus, to share  and listen.

The group welcomes all kinds of writers and has a range from novice to published published authors in its membership. There is no restriction on the type of work tackled, eg short stories, poems, novels, plays, film & tv scripts.

Work written by members of Alloa Writers has been published in many outlets including literary magazines, poetry magazines, through publishing houses, the internet, newspapers, and Clackmannanshire’s library publications. Work has been performed locally, and further afield in Glasgow, Callander & Stirling poetry venues, pantomime in Stirling, and at readings hosted by other groups.
